15 associations meet up today, all pledge to support AKR

Happy for everyone, all chief of associations agree to sell paddy to AKR.

A meeting between Angkor Kasekam Roongroeung (AKR) and her associations takes place today with satisfactory outcomes. The list of the associations as followings has come for the meeting in AKR.
Phnom Srouch district: Prey Kmeng, Moha Sang, Ou, Prey Ramdoul, Tang Sya
Samrong Tong district: Tumpoar Meas, Tang Krouch, Thommada Ar, Khtum Krang
Borsedth district: Svay Ramphea, Tuol Sala
Odonk district: Cheung Roas, Yutth Sameakki, Prey Krasang, Peang Lvea


During the meeting, the chief of associations show gratitude for the continuous support for the Neang Malis rice growing. Chief of Tang Saya association, Mr. Mea Chim said "I am happy to coopearate with the company. We are glad that the company help buying the rice production. The company does buy the paddy at a good price."

While chief of Tang Krouch, Mr. Chuan Cha said "we are very happy to work with the company, and as a result, we will inform our head villages not to sell the paddy to the middle men."
The cooperation between the farmers and Angkor Kasekam Roongroeung has reach the year 10 already. According to the statistic told by Mrs. Soeung Kolap, a representative of AKR, the total rice members from the said associations are approximately 10,000 families and the total rice production is around 20,000 tons.

In this occasion, his excellency Lu Lay Sreng, ex-deputy Priminister and Minister of Ministry of Rural Development, also witness the meeting between the associations and Angkor Rice as well.
